About Us

We do special right!

Our family has been farming and doing business in Goshen County for generations.  The latest generation marks the sixth of our family to be raised in the leading agricultural county in Wyoming.  We treasure our family, friends, and neighbors who reflect our Western heritage.  We value our independent rural way of life, our land and water resources, and traditional family values.  We seek to serve our community and surrounding areas with friendly service, quality merchandise, and uniquely curated clothing, accessories, and decor that inspire the homes and wardrobes of all those who shop with us.

Our Story

Home on the Range began on Main Street in Torrington, Wyoming, when Corey purchased a building for his insurance office where he and Celsie worked. The entire family worked hard to remodel the old building.  Having more space than the insurance business could fill at the time, Cheri started a retail home decor shop in half of the building.

In 2014, they purchased the building next door where Faces N Furs, owned by Javene Schutt, had been operating for 30 years. A hole was made in the thick brick wall, connecting the buildings. In 2018, the next building on the block became available. It was purchased from Deb and Gary Hunter, with another hole being punched in the double thick wall between the buildings, and another remodel began.

In 2020, Celsie leased the old JC Penny building across the street for her business Bear Mountain Meat Sales, and the family set out to remodel yet another building on Main Street in Torrington.

Great things have come from small beginnings. We are truly grateful for the overwhelming community support that has allowed us to build our businesses here among our family, friends, and neighbors.
